Job overview
We are Recruiting for a Workforce Systems Officer on a 6 month fixed-term basis!
The Workforce Systems Officer plays an essential role in supporting the effective operation of Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust’s workforce information and digital systems. The postholder provides efficient and customer-focused systems administration in line with Trust procedures, national guidance, and legislative requirements.

Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
- Good standard of education, e.g. GCSE/O-level including English and Maths or equivalent experience
- NVQ Level 3 or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience
Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Experience of IT systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and MS Teams
- Previous office experience working in a busy office
- Experience of working with sensitive data
Skills and abilities
Essential criteria
- Ability to use initiative to make a decision within own sphere of work and/or knowledge recognising where assistance is required
- Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate own workload, responding quickly to changes in work requirements
- Ability to analyse, interpret and present information and identify solutions to problems
- Ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels across the Trust

- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
