Job overview
The Estates department is seeking a forward thinking and innovative individual that embraces improvement and change to assist with the transformation of its operation. This role is part of a wider administrative team that provides support to estates (hard services, capital projects, governance and decontamination) and therefore will have a very varied remit.
Main duties of the job
The duties will include
- Skilled minute taking across a variety of specialities
- setting up and maintaining spreadsheets which will include anyalising and interpretation of data
- preparing documentation for presentations, slides, reports writting, including using various methods of showing data
- assisting with order enquires and contract information
- setting up organisation of filing systems using document control processes and maintain these systems effectively
- dealing with complex sensitive and confidential data
- production of contract specifications

Skills
Essential criteria
- Analytical skills; being able to identify key points from large amounts of complex information
- Ability to write reports including formation, interpretation of complex data
- Ability to create and manage document control systems
- Ability to produce documentation for policies, business cases and contract specifications
- Skilled in the use of the MS Office suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and other standard Windows applications
- A high degree of accuracy and attention for detail
Experience/Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experienced Minute Taker
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of previous posts held of a similar level, ideally within the NHS but not exclusively.
- Knowledge/Experience in Facilities Management (preferably hard services/estates)
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- A Level’s or relevant experience
- European Computer Driving Licence (EDCL Qualification)
Desirable criteria
- Business Administration qualifications
