Personal Assistant for Children and Young People Care Group (WCYP)

Band 4

Job overview

We have an excellent opportunity available for someone who wants to enhance and develop their PA skills.

The role is a band 4 Care Group PA role supporting a passionate team of Senior Management and colleagues.  The administrative team is a small team who work together to provide that flawless support to Senior Management and it would be great to have you as part of the team.

Main duties of the job

The core focus of the role is providing meeting support to the Care Group; this includes preparing agenda’s, taking live minutes, coordination of the action log and ensuring these are followed up within the required timeframe. Providing meeting support will give you great insight into the day-to-day running of our Care Group, support you in understanding the business needs and give you the background information needed to provide our extremely busy Care Group with the admin support they require.

In addition to this you will be dealing with Business World, Health Roster, setting up WebEx’s, managing inboxes, diary management, formatting documents etc.

If you thrive on being busy, take pride in being that support for Senior Management and have confidence in getting to grips with the business needs of our Care Group then this may just be the role for you.

Working for our organisation

We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 695,000 people.

Our vision is 'great healthcare from great people'. Everything we do is guided by our values: ‘People feel cared for, safe, respected and confident that we are making a difference’.

We have a new way of working at East Kent Hospitals, called ‘We care’. It’s about empowering frontline staff to lead improvements day-to-day. We’re looking for compassionate people to be part of our improvement journey for the patients, families and carers we care for every day.

Please note that if you require a Certificate of Sponsorship to work in the UK you must declare this on your application form, even if you currently have a certificate of sponsorship or a work permit for another role and are already working in the country. Please note we are only able to sponsor candidates on a Skilled Worker Visa applying for roles Band 5 and above.
