Applications are welcomed from experienced Specialty Doctors, Trust Grade Registrars and post-CCT doctors seeking further specialist experience.
The successful candidate will join an established team of 18 registrar-level doctors providing two-tier middle-grade cover across a busy Obstetrics and Gynaecology service delivering over 4,500 births per year. The department includes a seven-day Early Pregnancy Unit, specialist gynaecology services and close links with Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
Working for our organisation
The department is committed to supporting career development, including advanced labour ward skills, benign gynaecological surgery, early pregnancy, colposcopy, ultrasound and maternal medicine. Opportunities for development in specific areas will be supported where possible, considering departmental resources and the training requirements of deanery trainees. Candidates pursuing CESR or specialist skill development will be supported through a structured educational and appraisal process.
