Are you a qualified CBT Psychotherapist or Psychologist looking for your next challenge? Do you want to work for a supportive, friendly employer who supports work/life balance?

This is an exciting opportunity for a CBT therapist or Psychologist to join the North Kent (Dartford & Medway) team as it continues to expand and offer innovative interventions.

You will be responsible for offering high-quality CBT and family interventions across the KMPT EIP teams. Case consultation and joint work with staff in the multi-disciplinary team will also be an expectation.

You will have plenty of scope and support to develop your own practice, whilst providing a highly professional service to people with psychosis and to their families. 

Main duties of the job

To participate in the provision of psychological services to people aged 14+ years with a first/recent experience of psychosis and to their families within the localities served by Kent & Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. In particular:

  • To be responsible for the systematic provision of Psychological therapies and interventions
  • To undertake high quality direct and indirect specialist NICE compliant interventions
  • To strengthen the MDT's therapeutic capacity & work effectively with teams.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a postgraduate Qualification in CBT/Psychology, hold BABCP/HCPC registration, and have experience of working with people with mental health problems.

The Early Intervention for Psychosis Service is a well-respected and well-established multi-disciplinary service with a reputation for excellence. The EIP psychological therapies staff are integrated within EIPS and committed to providing support, excellent supervision and to developing its staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychologist or CBT therapist to join the team as it continues to expand and offer innovative interventions.
