Detailed job description and main responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Locum consultant in the Jade ward (general medical/Diabetes ward) in our hospital, part of the ward covered by the Diabetologist and the successful applicants will join our expanding team of experienced consultants.  The recruit will be assigned a outpatient clinic for the general medical patients.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • At least 7 years post registration essential.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience within NHS is desirable
  • Additional interest in a medical speciality is desirable.
  • Research experience desirable.

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Clinical Governance principles.
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of health service management
