Are you an enthusiastic, motivated individual with an interest in patient care, keen to join an innovative team of Cardiac Physiologists and other Health Care Professionals?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an assistant cardiac practitioner at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust including the community diagnostic centre. Full training will be provided and there will be opportunities for further progression.
The Trust offers a range of invasive and non-invasive investigations including Physiologist led exercise stress testing, tilt testing, ambulatory monitory, device follow-up and complex invasive procedures including angiography, PCI, PPM, ICD / CRT implantation and EP. All sites hold BSE Departmental Accreditation in Transthoracic echocardiography. We run a Physiologist Led Valve Clinic at both sites and assist in the Rapid Access Heart Failure Clinic. We also have a physiologist lead ILR implant service, and are working towards physiologist lead stress echo and TOE.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants will be expected to train in a wide range on non-invasive cardiac diagnostics such as ECG, holter & event monitoring and 24 hour BP monitoring. Additional training will be given on holter & ECG analysis.

- Experience as an assistant practitioner in a cardiac department
