We have an excellent opportunity within Seabathing ward based at Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Mother Hospital .
The ward works closely with a multi-disciplinary team including 2 Trauma Co-Ordinator's .
We are looking for people who have some previous experience of working in the specialty and have excellent leadership skills We will support and develop you to reach your full potential as a highly skilled and experienced nurse.
Main duties of the job
Registered Nurse with Trauma and Orthopaedic skills
To provide effective patient care whilst working as a member of the nursing team across East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust. To ensure the maintenance of high standards of patient care in response to service needs

- Recent clinical experience in an acute trust
- Delivery of evidence based practice
- Demonstrate patient focused approach

- Previous Band 5 experience within speciality
- Evidence of facilitating learning in practice
- Evidence of on-going personal + professional development
Clinical skills and experience
Essential criteria
- Well-developed verbal & written communication skills
- Time management and person organisation skills
Desirable criteria
- Venepuncture, Bladder Scans
- Catheterisation, Cannulation IV medications
