Bromley Healthcare is looking for a Communications and Engagement Apprentice to join our dynamic Comms and Engagement team. You'll gain hands-on experience while completing a Level 4 Public Relations and Communications Assistant apprenticeship with the award-winning JGA Group.
This is a chance to build a strong foundation in content creation, internal and external engagement, and digital communications, all within a supportive and structured learning environment.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship and demonstration of core competencies will lead to progression to a Band 4 role over 16 months, with the opportunity to progress to Band 5 within the following 12 months, based on a competency framework.
Main duties of the job
This role is ideal for someone creative, organised, and keen to learn, with an interest in marketing, media, and public relations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create engaging content – Write, design, and publish content for social media, websites, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Manage digital channels – Update and maintain website and intranet content, ensuring accessibility and quality.
- Support social media engagement – Monitor accounts, respond to queries, and analyse performance.
- Develop design and video skills – Use Canva and video editing software to create high-quality visual content.
- Support campaigns and events – Assist in planning and delivering marketing campaigns, staff engagement events, and external communications.
- Work with stakeholders – Build strong working relationships across different teams to ensure effective communication.
- Provide administrative support – Manage emails, invoices, and communications resources such as promotional materials and signage.
- Contribute to transformation projects – Help develop Bromley Healthcare’s new intranet and public-facing websites.
