We are an Acute and Community Trust based between the Pennines and Manchester City Centre. We employ almost 4,000 staff across Tameside & Glossop. Stamford Unit

Band 5 Nurse (newly qualified and experienced)

There are exciting and progressive new pathways and innovations happening at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust

This is a great opportunity to work within our Stamford unit at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust and we are looking for Band 5 Nurses (experienced and newly qualified). 

The Unit is supported by a GP 8 hours per day, 7 days a week and out of hours we have medical provision provided by the Go to Doc service. In addition to this we have a number of in reach services available from Digital Health, IV Community Nurses, Active Tameside, Mental Health, Dieticians, Podiatry, EOL services and District Nursing Teams

We want our patients to get up and dressed and stay as active as they are able whilst on the unit to enable them to maintain their strength and mobility. We support our patients in maintaining their independence and choice, working as a collaborative team we plan, deliver and promote safe and quality discharges. The team in the Stamford Unit consists on Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Social Workers, Integrated Urgent Care Team and District Nurses.
