Job overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Team Administrator to support our Nutrition & Hydration (N&H) Team with a keen eye for detail and the creative ability to produce high-quality documents such as menus, posters, and leaflets using tools like Canva.

The post holder will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks including meeting coordination, document preparation, email management, data entry, supporting audits, training sessions and support projects. You’ll also help maintain our digital systems like SharePoint and MS Teams, and occasionally deputise for the Business Support Administrator.

The post holder will be able to work on their own initiative, prioritise workload and meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes.

They will be required to work as an effective member of the team.  

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills, be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and be innovative and adaptable with a desire to ensure robust and efficient administrative systems.  

Main duties of the job

  • Provide comprehensive business administration support within the designated service area.
  • Manage and respond to centralised email accounts promptly and professionally.
  • Create and format documents, reports, posters, and leaflets using Microsoft Office and Canva.
  • Organise and support meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
  • Support audits, surveys, and service improvement projects.
  • Ensure effective communication with clinical teams and external stakeholders.
  • Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards in all administrative processes.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE Level 4 or equivalent in Maths and English Language
  • NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent experience or education

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience in a similar role with a knowledge of administrative systems and processes
  • A proven record of being able to work within set timeframes working to priorities and deadlines
Desirable criteria
  • Proficient in the use of Canva.
