Job overview
East Lancashire Hospitals is pleased to be able to advertise for Respiratory Physiology staff due to departmental expansion. We currently provide Respiratory and Sleep testing at Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital sites but will from 2023 also be staffing Respiratory Testing at a new Community Diagnostic Hub site in Rawtenstall. We will require staff to be able to move between sites as required by the needs of the service so do need someone who is able to travel and has a car.
The Respiratory Physiology and Sleep Department is a small team within a wider friendly and supportive Respiratory Directorate of around 250 staff, covering 4 acute wards, a day case unit, chest clinic, and community services.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to autonomously perform and report a range of respiratory testing include full pulmonary function testing.
