Job overview

An opportunity has risen for a permanent band 6 Occupational Health and Wellbeing Nurse to join the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service based at Royal Bolton Hospital supporting Royal Bolton staff and wider stakeholders. 

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Occupational Health Advisor,  you will be part of a multi disciplinary Occupational Health & Wellbeing team. You will communicate and work collaboratively with OH Advisors, OH Nurses, Mental Wellbeing Practitioners, HR professionals and liaise with key stakeholders and external agencies as required in support of a proactive and timely approach to employee health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Essential

Essential criteria
  • Part 1 NMC Register
  • Vaccination and Immunisation Training
  • Occupational Health Experience or Alternative specialty with transferable skills
Desirable criteria
  • NHS Experience
  • Experience in Full OH remit including health surveillance, pre placement assessments, vaccination programmes
  • Previous experience within an OH setting

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health Legislative Requirements
  • Management of Workload
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of Risk Assessment
