Job overview

Are you a Band 6 Occupational Therapist who would like to develop your clinical skills in a different area? Are you a Band 5 Occupational Therapist looking to develop your skills at a Band 6 level?

If so, we have a brilliant opportunity to come and join us here in the District Therapy Team at Bolton Foundation Trust.

We work across six neighbourhoods in Bolton to help provide a holistic community-centred provision. This will link health and care services in areas so that it is easier for people to navigate services and get the care they need closer to home.

This includes GPs, therapists, community nurses, mental health practitioners, social care teams and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector providers.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, confident, innovative and flexible individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful individual will need to engage closely with acute staff, community colleagues and social care staff to coordinate and provide high quality care in the community to avoid hospital admission and support hospital discharges.

Service is over 7 days 8am-6pm service. Weekend working is on a rota basis, currently 1 in 6.

Main duties of the job

In order to successfully undertake this post you must be an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to develop in this clinical area.
