An opportunity has arisen to join the Programme Management Office at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, where you will play a key role in supporting colleagues to transform and improve services.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

As Project Manager within the PMO, you will be responsible for supporting our teams to develop and deliver schemes within the Cost Improvement Programme (CIP) plan. 

You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of governance across the CIP schemes and will work with key stakeholders to project documentation is completed to a consistently high standard. 

You will need to possess excellent project management skills and have a good working knowledge of finance within the NHS. You will need to be able to analyse and interpret complex financial data and present it clearly so that it is understandable to a wide audience.

  • PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner level
  • Relevant post graduate qualification
  • MSP

Experience

  • Experience in managing a varied and demanding portfolio of tasks
  • Experience in managing staff
  • Proven successful track record in leading and supporting the delivery of a complex project(s
  • Proven successful track record in applying financial control and achieving financial savings targets;
  • Proven successful track record in leading, challenging and performance-managing teams and individuals

  • Experience in leading and sustaining transformational change within a complex organisation
  • Experience of using a variety of improvement methodologies to deliver benefits

Skills

  • Experience of providing and receiving information, which can be highly complex, sensitive, or contentious, requiring persuasion, negotiation, diplomatic and motivational skills
  • Highly developed and effective communication skills. Communication may be oral, and written, in the form of letters and reports, to staff at all levels in the Trust, and external to the Trust.

Knowledge
