The Therapies Service at Fairfield General Hospital is looking to appoint a highly motivated, committed and experienced Office Manager/Personal Assistant to be based at the Physiotherapy Department. The role involves managing a team of clerical staff working in the Physiotherapy Service, working with clinicians to ensuring the efficient administrative process are in place as well as acting as Personal Assistant to the Assistant Director of Allied Health Professions.

To fulfil this varied role you will have a flexible and professional approach with proven leadership skills, excellent prioritisation/time management skills and the ability to delegate and negotiate.

The key aspect of your role involves dealing with the public and professionals. You must therefore be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills.

You will have experience of supervising a team including line management of staff, and have worked under pressure in a busy office environment.  You should also have experience in developing efficient administration policies and procedures.

The department is working towards a 7 day model of service delivery and as such you will be expected to be flexible in terms of working patterns including weekends, bank holidays and extra hours if necessary.
