- Specialist mental health inpatient care for individuals with learning disabilities, alongside specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
- Extensive community physical health and well-being services for children and adults, covering prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term condition management.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,500 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. Job overview
This post forms part of a service currently subject to a service improvement and redesign programme. Service delivery models, roles and structures will be reviewed as part of the improvement process, which may result in changes and a consultation process in line with the Trust’s Organisational Change Policy.

We are seeking a motivated and organised Administrator to join our busy and supportive team. You will be supporting several teams within LSCFT including Care connexions. 2UCR and Home First. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high quality support to both clinical and non clinical staff.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service and coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
The post holder will be aligned to a specific clinical team and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the service providing cover to other teams on various sites as directed by the Clinical Team Leader in liaison with Admin Team Leader to ensure continuity of a quality service.
The post holder will provide support and day to day supervision of Administrative Assistant and act up on behalf of the Admin Team Leader as required.

Education / Qualifications
Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care or Business Administration – or equivalent experience.
- EDCL or Equivalent.
Knowledge

- Knowledge of NHS.
- Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures and practice.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator including diary management.
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving, confidential, sensitive, pressurised deadline driven environment.
- Experience of supporting and minuting meetings.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
