There has never been a better time to join the Payroll team! We are on a journey of innovation and improvement in order to streamline processes and ways of working.

This role will be working as part of a team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of the payroll for Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, which fully complies with the Trust’s statutory regulations, and meets all pay deadlines

Main duties of the job

The role will involve the processing of weekly and monthly payroll, creating regular data quality reports and monthly checks of ongoing contractual processes such as maternity leaves and fixed term contracts.

We operate a hybrid working model in the department with a mix of working from home and working in the office, with a predominantly virtual management model; this has allowed for greater flexibility and work-life balance.

Recognising those communities that are underrepresented within our workforce, we would particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian & minority ethnic candidates, LGBTQ+ & Disabled people.

Benefits include; flexible working, 27-33 days annual leave plus bank holidays, sick pay, NHS Pension Scheme, free eye tests and health checks, gym discount, free bicycle loan scheme, salary sacrifice car scheme, support with stress, bereavement, relationships, finance, and much more.
