Applications are invited for a Band 3 Administrator to provide a comprehensive secretarial administration and information service across the Eating Disorders Team, and coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
The post holder will be aligned to the Eating Disorders Team, covering the West locality, but is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the networks administrative service providing cover to other departments across the Service as directed by their Administration Line Manager to ensure continuity of service provision.
Evidence of good general education is essential together with good communication skills and excellent organisation ability. Knowledge of working with the NHS will be an advantage and computer skills with essential.
The successful candidate with require a mature, flexible approach and the ability to work within a busy team. They will be expected to use their own initiative and work unsupervised to ensure the effective coordination of duties.

Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join a community based, specialist Eating Disorder Service and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This team includes psychological therapists, nurses, dietitians, psychiatry and we have a service GP.
You must be able to provide efficient administrative support and have excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills. You will also require strong interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to organise your workload effectively.
The work is varied, interesting and demanding and candidates need to be organised, flexible and reliable. We are looking for people who possess the ability to meet the demands of the service, and also to be able to communicate with a wide range of people, including patients and health care professionals.
