Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of stroke survivors and people living with neurological conditions?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate individual to join our Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team. Working alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Rehabilitation Assistants, you will play an important role in supporting patients to maximise their independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

You will work with people living with the effects of stroke, acquired brain injuries and other complex neurological conditions across the Preston, Chorley and South Ribble area. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with access to in-house training and a blended competency programme to support your personal and professional development.

•    1 Full Time (37.50 hours)
•    1 Part Time (22.50 hours)

Main duties of the job

What we are looking for 

We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for patient-centred care and is a real team player. Experience of working with adults in a health or social care setting is essential, but more importantly, we are looking for someone with a passion for working with people, excellent communication skills, flexibility, good time management and strong organisational skills.

You will have experience of working in a multidisciplinary or multi-agency health or social care environment, together with knowledge of basic IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Experience of working with EMIS would be advantageous.

Due to the nature of the role, you must have the ability to travel across the Preston, Chorley and South Ribble area to meet the needs of the service and our patients.

New to neuro rehabilitation?
