• Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.

We're Looking For:

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity within patient records and IT systems.
2. Data Verification and Validation: Analyse data for logical inconsistencies, errors, or missing information.
3. Error Identification and Correction: Detect and rectify data inaccuracies, collaborating with relevant staff to correct these.
4. Investigation of Data Errors: Provide specialised advice and support in resolving complex data quality issues.
5. Compliance and Reporting: Maintain data handling and reporting practices in alignment with legal, regulatory, and NHS standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and data protection.
6. Training and Support: Offer guidance and training to clinical and administrative staff on data entry standards, best practices, and the utilisation of IT systems.
7. Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhancing data quality, contributing to the transition from reactive to proactive provision.
8. Monitoring of Patient Pathways: Monitor patient pathways from referral to discharge, identifying and reporting potential delays.
9. Presentation of Data: Report on data quality issues and patient pathways in weekly meetings, identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
10. Promotion of Data Quality Management: Elevate the importance of data quality management within the Trust, ensuring senior management is informed of issues and risks.

Essential criteria
- Educated to NVQ Level 4 in business Administration or equivalent demonstrable experience, knowledge and skills
- Computer Literate - Standard Keyboard skills.
- Demonstrable commitment to Continuous personal development.

- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines. Management of time effectively and display initiative.
- Ability to work on own initiative sometimes working under pressure and without direct supervision.
- Ability to make decisions but is aware when to seek advice.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving, confidential, sensitive, pressurised deadline driven environment.
- Experience of operating IT systems including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Emails and other dedicated software.
- Ability to interpret and understand patient pathways.
