Staff Nurse - Whalley (5% Of Starting Salary)

Our Vision is to provide the best mental health, learning disability, autism and community based services for the populations we serve.
As an integrated Mental Health, Learning Disability and Community Trust, Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:
- Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.
- Specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
- Community physical health and well-being services for children and adults.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,000 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. We are looking for Mental Health Nurses to work at new Whalley Site
We must make you aware that due to the site not yet being operational, we are unable to agree a start date prior to Sep 2023. We will continue to keep you updated on progress and will notify you of any changes that may arise

- Registered Mental Health Nurse Qualification. (RNMH & RNLD) or a student nurse nearing qualification
- On-going registration with the NMC.
Knowledge

- Can demonstrate an understanding and knowledge base of mental health conditions and their treatments.
- Can demonstrate a working knowledge of physical health conditions and the complications that this can cause to patients experiencing mental ill health.
Experience

- Post Graduate experience or be a student nurse nearing qualification
- Experience of assessing, planning, implementing and reviewing care needs.
