University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is one of the largest acute Trusts in the country and we are seeking a confident, enthusiastic and motivated individual to cover maternity leave, based at Belgrave House on the Leicester General Hospital site.
This post is substantive.
This is an extremely demanding but diverse and interesting role. As an Claims and Inquest Administrator, you will be responsible for administrative support to the Litigation Team and managing a caseload of Losses and Compensation claims in accordance with national and local policies and procedures. You will be required to work to tight deadlines. You will liaise with individuals at all levels, including senior staff, and members of the public.
You will have a good understanding of administration procedures. You will be able to work in a high-pressure environment and will have excellent communication skills. You will also have highly developed interpersonal skills, the capacity to deal with highly sensitive situations and the ability to work effectively and professionally with colleagues across the Trust and with external agencies.
