We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic pharmacy technician to join our friendly Cancer Services team at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
Your role will involve providing a medicines management service to the Oncology, Haematology wards and Day Case areas. You will also be part of the aseptic services team where duties will include aseptic preparation and the dispensing of medication.
You should be conscientious, reliable, have good attention to detail, have excellent communication skills and be able to work alone as well as part of a team.
You must be a qualified Pharmacy Technician with a BTEC or NVQ (or equivalent pharmacy technician qualification) in pharmaceutical sciences to apply for this post.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
