Would you like an opportunity to join our exciting and innovative Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) service? 

We are looking for an experienced team administrator who has worked in a similar admin role. They will provide effective and efficient administration support to the ASD Pathway Team and contribute to the smooth functioning of the systems underpinning the service.

Main duties of the job

Based within a busy environment, the post holder will have responsibility for providing a confidential, professional, efficient and responsive administrative support service including supporting the lead, collating figures and producing reports.

The post holder will be need to be professional, well-organised, team orientated, experienced and highly motivated to join our multi-disciplinary team.

Applicants should have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft office applications and patient information systems.

Education/ Qualification/ Training

Essential criteria
  • • English & Math’s GCSE or equivalent
  • • Good standard of written and spoken English
Desirable criteria
  • • NVQ Admin

Experience

Essential criteria
  • • Working In a Team
  • • Advanced Administration skills at a senior level
  • • Administration system management
  • • Compiling reports through data analysis
  • • Health/Social care patient information systems
  • • Practical applications of all MS Office Products
  • • Reception duties on a Health or Social Care setting
  • • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • • Working as part of an administrative team for at least a year
Desirable criteria
  • • Experience in a health/mental health, education or social services setting
  • • Working in a Multidisciplinary Health Team

Knowledge and Skills

Essential criteria
  • • Computer literacy and word processing skills (MSOffice Word) 40-45 wpm typing speed
  • • Data entry skills
  • • Other windows packages, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint & outlook. Also MS Teams
  • • Familiarity with switchboard duties
  • • Good communication & interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively verbally & in writing
  • • Ability to prioritise workload & plan & organise own time effectively
  • • Exercise own judgement when dealing with enquiries from patient, parents/carers or other professionals
  • • Ability to act independently, and on own initiative
  • • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a pressured environment
