This is a locum appointment for 12 months that contains 10 Programmed Activities per week, delivering a fixed weekly timetable across two sites (Croydon University hospital and Kings College hospital/Denmark Hill), including catheter laboratory EP & Devices lists, EP clinics arrhythmia MDTs and ward cover. There will be an average of 8.5 Programmed Activities of Direct Clinical Care with the remainder being allocated for Supporting Professional Activities (3 PAs at KCH and 7 PAs at CUH).

The successful applicant will be asked to participate in the EP on-call rota for Kings College Hospital (currently 1:6) and will also take part in consultant of the week inpatient ward cover in Croydon University Hospital (1:10weeks).

The post holder will be a fully trained and independent Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. The individual will be able to perform outpatient clinics independently, run catheter laboratory electrophysiology and device lists for investigation and treatment of patients with arrhythmias and participate in the consultant of the week (at CUH) and arrhythmia on call (KCH) rotas.
