Job overview

Fibroscan Technician

This is an exciting new role supporting the delivery of a high-quality, efficient and safe Fibroscan service as part of an innovative Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) pathway. The post will contribute to the development of a pioneering liver diagnostics service, enabling direct referrals from primary and secondary care and supporting a seamless pathway from referral through to diagnosis and treatment.

Working under the supervision of the Liver Specialist Nurse and wider clinical team, the postholder will support the early detection, monitoring and management of liver disease, improving patient outcomes and contributing to streamlined diagnostic pathways.
