Are you looking to progress your career and be at the forefront of change? 

South Bedfordshire Community Health Services are looking for a full time band 6 Occupational Therapist to be part of the Community Occupational Therapy service within the Primary Care Home Team.  We are a 7 day service 8am-9pm.

 

Main duties of the job

You will work closely alongside all members of the therapy team: Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and Rehabilitation Support Workers, as well as a wider multi-disciplinary workforce across Bedfordshire. You will build close links with the professionals and services required to wrap around the needs of each individual to provide a holistic approach.

You will need to be innovative, forward thinking, self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Take pride in your work, be highly motivated and dynamic, have a flexible approach and be able to embrace change. Being a collaborative worker, with the ability to network and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders will be essential.

All applicants need to hold a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC as well as holding leadership experience with team management skills.

Due to the nature of the post the applicant must be able to meet the travel requirements to travel across the county of Bedfordshire.
