An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered Allied Health professional
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled, and experienced clinical AHP manager with experience in community Children services who is currently in an NHS leadership role
You will be the operations and clinical lead for Enfield North Mid in the community Children services working within the Community Directorate to ensure professional leadership, practice and expertise across teams. As the Clinical Manager for this service you will provide supportive operational and clinical leadership and management with the option of maintaining a clinical caseload within an agreed area of specialism. This post will ensure the provision of high quality, responsive leadership to lead on the development and implementation of child and family -centred pathways and other service improvement initiatives.
You will be an integral member of the Children's Services leadership Team working alongside colleagues in therapy, nursing, psychology and medical services including Child Development services to improve and build on the core offers in Enfield.
Main duties of the job
This exciting role enables you to gain experience in the management and delivery of Children's Therapies services. You will implement and manage referral flow, systems and processes to ensure that services comply with Trust-wide policies and national/local targets.

Education & professional Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered Allied Health Profession, HCPC and UK Professional Body registrant
- Profession specific Degree (with Paediatric experience)
- Evidence of post registration professional development
- Clinical teaching or supervision qualification
- Has or working towards MSc/MA relevant to post
Experience
Essential criteria
- A detailed understanding of the national agenda for children’s services– both legislative and direction of travel (including SEND)
- Ability to relate to people of all disciplines and at all levels within the organisation
- Prioritising and managing workload within a busy operational role
Skills and aptitudes
Essential criteria
- Excellent inter - personal and communications skills
- Ability to write clear, concise reports
- Presentation skills
- Good IT skills
- Flexible and adaptable to meet deadlines, commitments and priorities.
