Job overview

As an Associate Audiologist you will be responsible for supporting the Audiology department in the development of our adult rehabilitation services & ensuring that our service users’ needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.

 As a centre of excellence, you will offer a person-centred approach to meet the listening needs of our patients and will have direct involvement in shaping the way that we work on a day-to-day basis.

Main duties of the job

The candidate will be responsible for providing adult rehabilitation services within the department. This will include key duties such as:

 ·        Running the hearing aid repair clinic

·         Stock ordering within the department

·         Providing hearing aid support services (e.g postal repairs)

Using outcome questionnaires to review patient hearing needs

·         Hearing aid follow ups performed over the phone

·         Helping with service development work and departmental audits

·         Training support for our students within the department
