Job overview
The postholder will provide high quality nursing care and work towards developing and working within a cohesive multidisciplinary team. The expectations within this job description will be met through Leadership, hands on clinical practice, education and training, and research.
Main duties of the job
Provide skilled assistance to clinicians and other members of the theatre team.
To deliver support and care to the required standards as directed within the specific clinical area.
Provide a service to all areas of the Trust where specifically related equipment or techniques are used and practiced.
Respond positively to unplanned activities outside of normal routines.
Plan work in advance to ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain 2 of the 3 specialties within the theatre environment and rotate between them.
