Main duties of the job
Working with the Head of People Business Partnering and the People Business Partner to achieve a culture based on our CORE values, championing continuous improvement, excellence and inclusion within the Hospice, the Assistant People Business Partner will build constructive working relationships with senior and middle managers across the organisation in support of the achievement of shared organisational objectives, in particular the ambition of the Hospice to move from being a ‘good’ to ‘great’ employer.
The Assistant People Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting the People team in the delivery of an outstanding People Service. The role involves providing guidance on People Policies, employee relations, change management, recruitment and volunteering. The Assistant People Business Partner will work closely with the People team, line managers and staff to foster a positive working environment, in alignment with the organisations values.
The Assistant People Business Partner will also hold a portfolio of HR and volunteering projects and initiatives, working with the Head of People Business partnering, the People Business Partner and the People Services team and stakeholders across the Hospice to ensure that matters of strategic importance are progressed.
