The Medical Workforce Team are seeking someone with a keen interest in a generalist HR career, to  provide a high level operational service to managers and employees.

The role of the Medical Workforce Assistant is varied, requiring excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting demands. 

We are seeking someone with meticulous attention to detail, experience of HR administration, strong communication skills, and an approachable and confident manner when dealing with people at all levels. 

This post is for 7 months to cover a period of maternity leave within the team.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide administrative and clerical support to the recruitment function, ensuring high quality and safe recruitment and selection practice, induction, sign on and administration of payroll information and contracts of employment; maintenance of electronic filing systems and ESR, and responsibility for key medical workforce processes and systems. 
  • To support the day to day operational management of the Medical Recruitment Advisors ensuring a high quality, responsive service to medical staff and managers within the Trust.
