Band 5 Dietitians (Acute services)
This is an exciting time to be working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation one of the biggest NHS Trusts in the UK, delivering care to more than 1.6 million people a year through our three main hospitals: Barnet, Chase Farm and Royal Free.
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Dietitian, eager to increase their clinical skills in acute medicine, health services for the elderly and surgery, to join our dynamic acute services therapy team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
The posts will be integrated within multi-professional therapy teams to provide a dietetic service to a large range of inpatients, forming part of our Band 5 rotation program.
Main duties of the job
With the support of their line manager & clinical supervisor, to be
responsible for the dietetic management of all patients within the
designated clinical area
To deliver education and training to patients, carers and other healthcare
professionals within the Trust
To participate in departmental activities and working groups to contribute
to service development
To actively contribute to departmental research and audit projects
