Clinical Team Leader (Refer a friend + Golden Hello scheme)

Band 6

CNWL (Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust) has almost 7,000 staff providing integrated healthcare to a third of London's population, Milton Keynes and areas beyond. We involve service users, carers, the public, staff and partner organisations in the way that we are run. You can become a member by visiting our website.

Our catchment area spans diverse communities, with over 100 first languages spoken. It contains areas of great affluence as well as areas of much deprivation. We are committed to providing services that meet the needs of the people who use them, and we actively encourage involvement from local people who can help make a difference. We’re proud of our diversity and we continue to undertake new initiatives to advance equality for LGBT+, BME and people with disabilities to promote good relations and understanding between our staff.

CNWL is recognised locally, nationally and internationally for providing high quality, innovative healthcare. We aim to employ only the best people, and our experts are frequently called upon to contribute to national health strategy and policy, and many models of our care have been adapted for use in other countries.

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust offers a generous relocation package to successful candidates - subject to eligibility assessment.

Bank assignments are available for most roles.

We are seeking compassionate, bright and committed and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our excellent teams on Eastlake and Ferneley Wards at Northwick Park Adult Acute Services. Rated by The Care Quality Commission (CQC) as Good, we wish to recruit Nurses who embody the core values of Central and Northwest London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) Compassion, Respect, Empowerment and Partnership.  We are dedicated to providing the best care for our Service Users during their inpatient stay and as such, our Wards are at the forefront of implementing Trauma Informed Approaches to Mental  Health Care in the Trust.

As a Clinical Team Leader, you will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team and be responsible for delivering evidence based interventions to service users in acute crisis. You will be highly skilled in supporting their recovery and working with service users experiencing high levels of distress and disturbance.  You will work as Unit Coordinator, providing leadership and senior nursing support to the teams out of hours.

CNWL provide excellent opportunities for learning and development, and as a Band 6 Clinical Team Leader you will be well supported through preceptorship, supervision, and training.

Benefits include a Golden Hello of £2,500 and £400 for Refer a Friend.
