Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for a research analytics developer to join the research and development team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The role will be based within the Digital Services Business Intelligence Unit for professional accountability but will need to work closely with the research development team as well as a wide range of senior stakeholders in the organisation to help develop the digital research infrastructure required to enhance delivery of clinical research and improve health outcomes.
Main duties of the job
You will need to have a methodical approach to your tasks, to be enthusiastic about change, curious and creative and methodological in your approach. You will need to be a good communicator, as you will be meeting clinical, clerical and management staff from different Departments in your day to day duties.
The post holder will be responsible for planning, delivering and monitoring high quality research data capture for research studies designed by Trust clinicians or external funders in accordance with clinician and funder expectations, Trust SOPs, applicable guidelines, country specific regulations and European Union Legislation and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. The role involves the everyday management of research data during the lifetime of allocated research projects as well as making decisions about how data will be preserved and shared after projects are completed and software procurement to facilitate research where necessary.
