This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self motivated professional to join the evolving Cardiology Department at the UHL site.  The successful applicant will be highly motivated and forward-thinking individual who will contribute to the delivery of a high- quality and effective echocardiography service.

You will be required to have a B.Sc Clinical Physiology or equivalent and possess BSE and/or EACVI accreditation in echocardiography.

The successful applicant will be capable of providing an excellent level of clinical competence and knowledge. The post holder should also be highly team focused, a positive role model and possess good communication, organisational and assertiveness skills.

Cardiology at UHL uses a combination of GE & Philips ultrasound equipment with Echo PAC reporting software. GE equipment supports 3D & Strain imaging.

We currently perform standard TTE, stress echo, contrast/ bubble studies & TOE. As a Band 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist (Echocardiographer) this role will also provide opportunities to enhance your skills toward complex imaging, stress echo and other specialities.

A 10% recruitment and retention premium will be added to your salary in addition to the high cost living allowance (HCA).
