Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated compassionate individual to join our team. An experienced autonomous nurse practitioner who is enthusiastic and dynamic. Working in conjunction with the wider hospital team to deliver a high standard of care to all our patients.
Managing and leading a busy nurse led minor injuries unit within the ED. Motivating and role modelling high standards, implementing and driving improvements and initiatives. Continuously striving to achieve an outstanding Emergency department.
As a busy dynamic team, we are responsible for promoting and protecting the reputation of the Trust. We do this through delivering high standards of care to all our patients and community. We continuously strive towards achieving an outstanding department through on going improvements and initiatives.Developing and nourishing a positive culture is at the heart of all we do in our ED.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will provide enthusiastic, passionate and innovative Nursing team leadership, demonstrating outstanding evidence based clinical practice and leadership within the multi-professional team, combined with clear and effective operational/resource management. Will manage and develop patient care in minor injuries unit autonomously. The post holder is responsible for the safe and effective running of the minor injury’s unit service provision whilst on duty.
