We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated assistant audiology IQIPs accreditation lead to join our audiology services. You will  support the successful achievement of IQIPs accreditation over a 2 year period for Barts Health NHS Trust Audiology.

The Barts Health Audiology services run across 7 sites, Whipps Cross Hospital, The Royal London Hospital, Hackney Ark, Vicarage Lane, West ham lane, Wood street and Loxford polyclinic. We are an enthusiastic and friendly team of audiologists who provide hearing and balance services for the local adult and paediatric populations.

Main duties of the job

To assist with the project management and delivery of IQIPS (Improving Quality in Physiological Services) accreditation program across all 7 audiology sites at Barts Health NHS Trust. Support the Audiology IQIPs Accreditation lead to develop a strong culture of quality and project methodology to deliver IQIPS accreditation. Standardise ways of working (particularly from an administrative perspective) across all audiology sites. 

Assist with document control, managing audit schedules, meeting minutes and monitoring key project timelines. Support the implementation of a robust document management policy and system across the service.

To engage with the administration teams to standardise admin processes, write SOPs for these processes and ensure they are complied with

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • BSc/Degree level qualification (however equivalent experience particularly in audiology administration will be considered)
  • 4 GCSE’s with equivalent A-C qualifications and relevant A-Level in health and social care (equivalent experiences considered)
Desirable criteria
  • Managing successful programs or equivalent.
  • Relevant change, project and / or programme management qualifications

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of service transformation, and development.
  • Significant administrative experience with PAS systems, ideally with cerner and auditbase.
  • Experience with standardising administrative processes in complex services
  • Experience / knowledge of quality processes
  • Significant experience working in NHS healthcare sciences/a healthcare setting, with particular preference for audiology experience.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience in project/programme management delivery with evidence of assisting and managing improvement projects within the NHS/social care setting.
  • Experience of delivering organisational change projects.
  • Experience of service transformation, design and development.
  • Experience working in an IQIPS accredited physiological service
  • PA experience, i.e assisting with meeting minutes and note taking
