An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a new People Business Partner.
As a People Business Partner your role will be to lead the provision of a strategic, operational and business-focused people relations service to all staff within the Division. This will include workforce planning and development, resourcing, employee relations, leading and influencing organisational change and staff development and training.
You will also act as a conduit to the Divisional leadership, on behalf of the people team, to commission work for your business area, as the needs demand.
You will be a team player, with excellent persuasion and negotiation skills, and a flexible approach to work. We are looking for an individual with drive, energy and the personality to make an immediate impact, supported by the experience, qualifications and skills to add value to our organisation. Your success will be built upon your CIPD qualification, or equivalent knowledge and you will have experience of change management and developing new roles and ways of working.

This post is predominantly based at predominantly at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust with and 6 Orsman Road (you will also be able to work from home for 1-2 days per week).
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead the provision of a strategic, operational and business-focused people partner service to all staff within their assigned specialty area, which includes workforce development, leading and influencing organisational change, people development and training, and being the lead for some Employee Relations casework.
The post has management responsibility for delivery of People indicators, e.g. sickness/appraisal target, delivery of cost improvement plans and workforce change for their designated area of specialty.
The postholder will contribute to the development and implementation of the People Plan and service plans.
In addition, the post holder will take responsibility for the management of a Trust wide corporate piece of work and/or management of specific areas related to People /OD under the guidance of the Deputy Director of People.

- Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or equivalent experience
- Masters level qualification or knowledge and expertise gained through in-depth experience to masters level equivalent
