Are you a born organiser with a passion for people and a commitment to service excellence? We’re looking for confident, hands-on Supervisors to lead our dedicated teams across the vibrant and impactful Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust hospital sites.

This is no ordinary role – it’s fast-paced, high-energy, and absolutely vital to the smooth running of our services. As a Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily operations within one of our dynamic Hotel Services teams, whether it’s, Patient Dining, Domestics or  Portering.

You’ll be the spark that drives your team to success, ensuring everything runs like clockwork, meeting the highest standards of safety, quality, and care. Managing logistics, staffing, and service delivery will be at the heart of your role, all while cultivating a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence.

Main duties of the job

•    Coordinate all aspects of your designated service area, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery.
•    Lead and support your team with daily task allocation, absence management, and return-to-work interviews.
•    Act as the key point of contact for staff, providing guidance, motivation, and performance oversight.
•    Collaborate with clinical teams, facilities, and other hotel services to maintain seamless operations.
•    Uphold Trust values and contribute to a safe, clean, and patient-focused environment.

Education/ Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • General education to include Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • NVQ qualification in Customer Service

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety requirements
  • An understanding of people’s equality, diversity and rights.
  • Experience of customer service roles
Desirable criteria
  • Previous healthcare/NHS experience
  • Previous supervisory experience

Communication & Skills

Essential criteria
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
