We would love for you to visit our site in person for interview, our nearest station is White City. We also offer parking. We understand meeting in person may not always be possible, should you not be able to attend in person, please let us know so that we can make arrangements to interview virtually.

  • To assist in the provision of an efficient radiology service.
  • To engage with a transformational leadership approach.
  • To work as part of a professional radiography team providing a high quality diagnostic service.
  • To maintain a sensitive and courteous approach to patients.
  • To develop and improve professional expertise via continuous professional development (CPD).
  • To act as a mentor and coach to junior colleagues and student radiographers. (Courses and guidance provided).

 

The “must haves” for you to be considered for this role: 

·         BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent

  • Up to date knowledge and Radiography experience
  • NHS experience is highly desired

Education

Essential criteria
  • BSc (Hons) Radiography, DCR (D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration
Desirable criteria
  • Post graduate study

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Up to date knowledge of general x-ray techniques
  • Experience of working unsupervised out of hours
  • Experience of training staff and students
  • Awareness of clinical governance issue in relation to patient care.
Desirable criteria
  • Significant post-graduation experience.
  • Previous CT/MR &/or IR Experience

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to teach and mentor students, more junior staff and new members of staff.
  • Ability to cope with work pressures and manage time effectively
  • Ability to make prompt decisions based on knowledge, experience and circumstances
Desirable criteria
  • Basic teaching, and supervisory skills.
  • Intra-venous injecting skills
