Trosolwg o'r swydd

This is an exciting opportunity for an anaesthetic or ICM speciality doctor or trainee with a strong interest in research in ICM, to join the team at Hammersmith Hospital ICU and actively participate in the research and academic activities of the department. The post would suit speciality doctors at senior clinical fellow level, wishing to obtain or further existing experience in research. The post affords supervision, competencies and dedicated research time commensurate with the requirements for special skills training in academic research for ICM training as described by the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine. As such, the post would also be suitable for stage 2 special skills training in academic research with the relevant approvals of the local ICM regional advisor and training programme director.

It is anticipated that up to 70% of daytime activity will be protected for research.

The department participates in numerous NIHR portfolio trials and studies. Research interests include basic, translational and clinical research pertaining to ARDS, sepsis and multi-organ failure including acute kidney injury.
