Job overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Imaging Assistant to join our Interventional Radiology Team at Charing Cross Hospital.

In this role, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing essential support in various areas such as clerical tasks, administrative duties, and maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the education and development of our junior team members within the Imaging Assistant team, as well as providing compassionate care to our patients throughout their IR procedures.

Collaboration is key in our multidisciplinary environment, and you'll have the chance to work closely with radiographers, radiologists, nurses, and other professionals within our Trust.

This role requires a flexible approach to working. In helping to deliver our service, this role may involve evening and weekend working within your contracted hours.

Main duties of the job

Enables effective patient care and undertakes important clerical, administrative and housekeeping tasks to support the delivery of IR services. This will also provide educational support to their junior team members, alongside patient care support before, during and after IR procedures.
