An exciting opportunity has arisen for two nurses to join the Antenatal clinic team as a Maternity Immunisation Nurse at Imperial College NHS Trust at Queen Charlotte & Chelsea with requirement to cross cover St Mary's Hospital.
Working 37.5 hours a week, 5 days a week and 15 hours a week, 2 days a week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic registered nurse to facilitate the maternity immunisation service. The nurse will work collaboratively to provide a service for women and babies providing Covid 19 vaccine, Pertussis, RSV and Flu to pregnant people.

• To work in the immunisation service and work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in Maternity improving quality of care for pregnant people and their babies.
• To work in a multi professional way with band 5 immunisation nurse, midwives, obstetric nurses, support workers and stakeholders relevant to the role.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
- To provide maternity immunisations including but not exclusive to Covid 19, Flu and Pertussis.
- To contribute to the delivery of a high quality public health programme for pregnant women/people and newborn babies at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
- To take a woman/person-centred and public health approach to improve health and tackle inequalities, specifically to raise the level of immunisation uptake across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
- To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all women and birthing people that is compassionate and caring.
- To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision.
- Proficient in advising and discussing immunisation benefits and risks with patients.
- To collate appropriate data for the purpose of reporting to NHSE and auditing.
- To undertake the necessary training and knowledge in order to be competent in the field.
