Job overview

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking individual with good communication skills to join our Renal secretarial team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. An ideal post for someone looking to develop their NHS career, the post holder will have a 'can do' attitude and have experience of working in a busy NHS environment.

 The post holder will be directly responsible to the Renal Medical Secretary Supervisor and will work in close liaison with the consultants and their team. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that all patient correspondence is accurately sent to patients and their GPs in a timely fashion and referrals to be sent to the relevant teams. The day-to-day working relationships include face-to-face, telephone and electronic communication, other administrative and clerical staff, all staff groups within the Trust, numerous outside agencies including patients, their carers, GPs and other hospitals

Main duties of the job

Provide secretarial assistance to the Renal team ensuring the provision of an efficient and reliable service.
