Education & Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree level
  • Educated to Master level or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience
  • Chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development;
  • Evidence of Continuous professional development
  • Workforce planning experience
  • Qualified in Psychometric Testing to BPS Level A & B (intermediate) Leve
Desirable criteria
  • Accredited qualification in mediation

Skills & Experience

Essential criteria
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of working within a HR Business Partner model
  • Substantial HR generalist experience including change management and employee relations in a complex, multi - site unionised environment
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage a team
  • Sound IT skills in word processing, spread -sheet, presentation and email software.
  • Experience of HR management in a unionised environment, including well - developed negotiation skills
  • Substantial knowledge and experience of advising managers on handling complex and sensitive issues
  • Able to write good quality notes and reports for senior managers and as part of formal proceedings
Desirable criteria
  • Proven NHS experience and knowledge
