The post holder will be responsible for providing a proactive, comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to Mental Health and Learning Disability (MHLD) Team in Lambeth, as well as across the other three MHLD Services (Lewisham, Southwark, Croydon).
As the senior administrator you will be working in Maudsley Hospital, Clinical Treatment Centre and be the first point of contact for families/carers and other members of service users’ network and play an important role in ensuring good patient experience and positive image of the service.
Main duties of the job
You will provide managerial and professional leadership to junior administrative staff working within the MHLD services.
Oversee accurate clinical data kept on all MHLD Lambeth’s clinical activities.
Oversee the management of all four MHLD Services Health-Roster. This includes recording annual, sickness, study leave and leave entitlement.
Be responsible for MHLD Lambeth referrals process and reporting on Key Performance Indicators for the MHLD Lambeth service and related clinicians.
Assist the multi-disciplinary community team and junior administrators in delivering a seamless functioning of MHLD Lambeth through effective communication, general administration, minute taking of relevant meetings and appropriate interactions with service users, staff, and visitors.
Be responsible for overseeing effective delivery of administrative duties of junior administrators and provide support to them as required to ensure continuity of service delivery to bridge gaps in admin capacity.
