Trosolwg o'r swydd

An exciting opportunity to join the UCLH Electronic Health Record (EHR) team has arisen within our Patient Access & Flow team.

We are looking to recruit four enthusiastic individuals, to form part of a new team to delivery of a DEP to SER Masterfile conversion and Patient Appointment Self-Scheduling via MyCareUCLH (MyChart).  We have a mixture of permanent and 2 year fixed term posts available - this will be discussed with candidates at interview

We are seeking individuals with a strong interest and experience in digital healthcare within an outpatient setting. Applicants should be Epic Certified/Proficient in at least one app, preferably Cadence/Ambulatory/MyChart or one of our other PAS based Apps such as Grand Central or Springboard.

This programme is a unique and challenging initiative aimed at delivering significant benefits for both patients and the organisation.  Using the agile methodology, we will collaborate with key stakeholders to design, release, and iterate at pace—ensuring that we deliver value to the organisation as early as possible.

Our Epic EHR system plays a crucial role in improving care by providing staff and patients with seamless access to information, ensuring that services and treatment plans are built around patient needs. Patient Self Scheduling is key to our transformation programme, driving forward our vision as a digitally enabled organisation that supports efficient, effective, and most importantly patient-centred care.

The post holders will be part of a dedicated scrum team responsible for the design, configuration, build, and testing of the Patient Self-Scheduling programme and the pre-requisite . Working alongside the EHR Deputy Delivery Manager and Training & Adoption colleagues, they will establish strong relationships with departmental leads, super-users, and subject matter experts to assess current-state booking and MyCare workflows and contribute to shaping the future-state design and successful programme delivery.

They will support the Deputy Delivery Manager in executing project plans, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to governance frameworks, quality standards, and agile methodologies. Regular engagement with clinicians and operational managers will be key to analysing service needs, defining clinical best practices, optimising workflows, and aligning system enhancements with Trust strategic objectives.

Candidates who only hold one of the desired Certifications but lack the other will be provided with training and are expected to achieve certification or proficiency within their six-month probation period.
It is anticipated that post holders will need to spend at minimum one day on site per fortnight with the capacity to attend more frequently depending on business need. This post would therefore be suitable for staff who are looking for hybrid opportunities.
