Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Women’s Health reproductive medicine unit to join our team based in out- patients.

We are inviting applications from experienced, enthusiastic, motivated registered nurses.

The successful candidate will have a significant interest in reproductive medicine.

This is a great opportunity for the right person. The post-holder will be encouraged to develop under the guidance of current CNS and medical teams.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual with an innovative approach to service improvement and previous experience of managing clinical programmes.  The post holder will be expected to have excellent communication, management .

The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills, and an organised mind. Knowledge, skills, and some experience relevant to the specialty is essential.

Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Registered nurse Part 1, 2 or relevant section of the register
  • Your professional knowledge acquired at degree level will be supplemented by specialist training, experience and short courses to Masters level equivalent.
  • Masters qualification or or evidence of actively working towards this.
  • Post registration qualification in appropriate area of speciality or equivalent post qualification experience.

  • Experience of working autonomously at an advanced level. Delivering effective patient focused care.
  • Proven experience in working within reproductive medicine
  • Proven evidence of management / leadership skills and autonomous practice.
  • Previous experience of student supervision and clinical education at undergraduate level
